Tanzania

02Dec10

Just got back from Tanzania. What a nice experience that was. I stayed with a tanzanian family for a week, spotted a cheetah and lionesses, had a mad vespa roadtrip on Zanzibar, almost went to prison by not allowing a police bribe and enjoyed the islamic hospitality on Pemba island. And even this is an understatement of this great adventure!! In Tanga I had my own personal friend who fixed contacts. A luxury if you don’t speak swahili. Asante sana to him! We roamed the streets with the Leica M6 coupled to the summilux 35mm f1.4…

Tanzania, one of the poorest countries in the world. For me one of the richest concerning hospitality, joy of life, stunning nature, beaches and honest people. And darn good fresh fish ofcourse! :p
